First Post

First post to follow a busy week. Superbowl Sunday was my birthday followed by a very busy week at work. Who would have imagined the booming rental car industry in Hartford, CT? I never thought I would start my 27th year behind a rental car counter, but then again I never really gave a whole lot of thought to what I wanted to do specifically, so that is what you end up with.

Tonight was a nice Saturday to relax with my wife. We enjoyed hibachi at Sakura and came home and watched "The Town". Nothing like staying in. Going out was so 2010, "Go Domestic in 2011" is the new phrase. Tomorrow I complete my 3rd week of P90X which I have done well with in terms of my diet and only so-so in terms of the actual work outs. (Who would have thought I'd actually kick my sweet tooth?) My results so far have yielded a 10 lb loss. Let's see if we can lose 30 more!

Finally, I experienced a heavy loss this past week. A family friend passed away who I will miss very much. I will always remember her and the memories we shared as a family.  Her and I would always watch Jeopardy together when I was growing up so as a way to remember her I tested for the show. I know if she was ever able to get on that show she would have given that Jennings guy a run for his money. RIP Phyllis Hirsch.

Goodnight!
